So Scared

January is looming. Some bad stuff coming.

I do my obsessive media silo which I probably shouldn’t but do it anyway. The presidential historians…this is really bad.

Maybe the people who chose this will soon discover the practical impact on their lives. They aren’t going to the house in Florida or the private flight. They are not invited. They can though get way too much cheeseburgers and fried chicken buckets just down the street any day anyway. But social safety net these ones do not understand until it hits them, is public policy and it’s the only way to reweave the safety net. Which you kind of need.

Maybe our institutions will hold. All so much at stake in probably one of the most dangerous times I’ve ever known. And I grew up watching assassinations and cities burning and convention beatings.

This is scarier.
