It Is MLK Day, January 20

That’s the only thing worth acknowledging today.

National holiday, MLK Day. Think MLK.

Racial justice and economic justice. MLK was about both. It’s his day. History has judged.

Philippians 4:8.

Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue and if there be any praise, think on these things.

And Joe Biden. Good call on the preemptive pardons of people innocent and doing their public service jobs faithfully. So they do not get persecuted. You protected them. And you protected your family. This retribution rant is bad, really, really bad. But it can not stand. It just will not stand. Now restful time to be with loved ones, ponder, and ramble (as did my so missed Father). You’ve left an honorable legacy and all the right things. History will judge you well.

Praise refusenik Michelle for just saying no.

Staying away from media today.

Oh gave in to the Bulwark. Smart people with consciences.

Otherwise just do what is positive. Some house clean up, some legal pad scribbles into text, some WordPress, some financial stuff, just check up, basic finance hygiene. Good to do. Go through a box of file folders that had been on my desk and on the floor while I was away but things I need. Cats. Knock things off desk onto floor to look through window because cats cannot resist windows. You rascals.

Chair yoga. Elliptical. Stretch my knee.

Eat a salad. Make soup. (That soup will be good. I can cook when I want to.)
