Bored Games

So this just distracting me on a cloudy, light peaceful snow, February Sunday morning.

My namesake Grandmother was a fierce, and pretty good, bridge player. Whenever she visited, it would be bridge. The ones who did play, laughed so much.

Me, playing cards never caught on. I would get out a book.

When my son was young-ish we played some games but he always changed the rules and cheated. Which I let him do.

And built Lego. Best Christmas morning ever. Building Lego soccer together still dark out. I’ve got so much Lego in storage. Love the Lego. That’s got to be gifted.

I’m cleaning up scribbled notes and I’d written parcheesi and monopoly. Those I liked.

Back today to Keynes Hayek. For a book on economic theory it’s actually a good read.

Make that stew. February Sunday.
