Knee Contraptions

Went to the dumpster today. Confidence. I’m getting used to walking and no falls.

And sit up straight and don’t slump. That’s easy. And stretch that knee. That’s easy. Elliptical. Sit ups. Chair yoga. For now. Call my knee surgeon because I’m not a medical doctor, just an academic doctor, to make sure I’m not doing anything that could be a mistake. Child pose on the mat probably a mistake. The knee.

Movement. Gosh I want to be in that lap pool so much. Work for it, process. It’ll come in time.

Today, with family friend here to spot me, walked steps without the walker. Like a lot of steps. I’ve written this before, that the nurses told me to be patient, it will come back.

I want to be in that lap pool so much. I’m going to get there.
