Team Ukraine, Team Gaza

Drone bombs on Moscow last night. Strike back. Fight back. Maybe even saving the Baltics, Poland. Bravest people, so much of their own loss, still on the right side of history.

And Tim Miller on Bulwark wearing a shirt which slogan I couldn’t begin to spell but yeah, Ukraine.

Macron and France. When the current US government doesn’t do the right things, it’s up to France.

In Gaza, the devastation is beyond what people of good will can imagine. Israel could have chosen differently, and ought to know better.

From here, what I can do. Donate to those delivering relief to the innocent.

Help the IGOs. UNICEF. UNRWA.

Help the NGOs. Doctors Without Borders. Save The Children. Oxfam. World Central Kitchen.

My own country right now is run by a mob boss, or a couple of. What a spectacle. Weird and scary. There is righteous anger growing, deserved. Destruction of institutions that help people in need. Desecration of cultural treasures. Chain saw not a good look, and child prop not a good look, and car sales at the Casa Blanca lawn not a good look. But sanity will come back. And then the United States will rejoin the world community, help to restore Ukraine, Gaza, USAID. And right itself.

Here, in midst of crazy and destructive, we’ve still got Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren and Jasmine Crockett. Speaking out loud. Fist bumps, we need you.
